more Napoleonic cavalry

Did these this afternoon,colours same as before.Horse undercoated black,dry brushed the chosen colour,then a 50/50 water plaka matt black wash.

Another week another commission.This is the first of 12 Belgian 5th light dragoons,reverse colours for the trumpeter.The yellow i use is "Americano"range from hobbycraft,fantastic coverage over black.

Filler mixed with brown fence paint,bottom right is going to be a small wet marsh area so left free of filler.The reeds are made from guitar strings.

The third for my command stand,this figures i think,is an artillery officer but his such a lovely figure,he just had to go on the command stand.

Have had these command figures from perry miniatures hanging around since Septembers partizan,giving to me by my friend Gaz,cheers mate.

Am going to paint three up for a command stand here's the first.

Have had this unit undercoated and ready to go for a while now.Then flames of war caught my eye and they were forgotten,so a snowy sunday and nothing to do i bit the bullet and did them.Still need a bit of basing which i'll do next time the polyfiller is out.

I need to do 3 more foot units and the the cavalry to finish my Armati roylist army.

73rd line

Here's some of the of 73rd rank and file,managed to do 11 of these in an afternoon,snowed in has its good points.Now back to my own stuff :)

Played a corking wargame on the 2nd jan at a friends house(andy Bullock),also there was mark (skirmisher) Bullock and dave (old stonewall) wilkins.

All troops/terrain from the collection of Andy Bullock.Painted by Dave Wilkins and Andy Bullock.

We use Carnage and glory computer rules,which means us four thicko's don't have to do any working out.A great days gamming.

More 73rd

Drummer and Grenadiers this time,same colours as before apart from the drummer's green foundry chasseur green "B" with highlight "C" .This batch is the last of the odds as i call them,this leaves just 11 rank and file to do.Rank and file will be done in one batch.
